We turned a sloping yard high on Signal Hill into a family’s personal haven. It started with their wish list: a pool for the kids, space for watching sports, room to host friends. Embracing the natural elevation, we carved out distinct spaces, each with its own character while fitting into the whole.

What emerged is a backyard full of pleasant surprises. Tucked-away spots beckon both lively gatherings and quiet moments. The underdeck became the ideal sports-viewing retreat. The pool area serves as the heart of family life. You can wander and always find the perfect spot, whether you’re hosting the team or seeking a tranquil escape.
